InterpAsUnicode Hidden VI Server Property

I am dealing with displaying multiple languages on the user interface of my application. I have read just about all the posts regarding this operation within this discussion forum and all of them state that the IterpAsUnicode property must be set to TRUE for ansian languages. I have done some extensive searching for this porperty value but have not been able to find it anywhere within the VI server. Can anyone send me instructions on how to make this property visible.

P.S.

I was told by NI that I needed to have VI Scipt installed on my system for the hidden property values to become visible. I have done this and it did expand the amount of properties but I still have not been able to find the IterpAsUnicode property.

I don't have my hands on a scripting machine at the moment .... was that a property of the string control itself?

Please forgive if that is wrong,

Go to the LAVA forums and read the read me in the scripting forum to see how to enable the private stuff.

That said, I have no idea if this property will help you, even if this will give you access to it.

This particular property was never fully implemented.  Having been burned by it and having to get a specially compiled version of LabVIEW to rescue my code, I would strongly recommend you not use it, even if you could find it.  There is a reason it is not exposed.
