Yes, it seems to work ok on my Vista Home Edition laptop. I have done a couple of upgrades to existing Labview 7.0 projects with no apparent problems.

None of the hardware drivers will work though. You would need to download and install Vista compatible versions.

That sums my problem when i tried vista.I got back to XP after some couple of tries.

Can you elaborate a little more dennis.Will there be some patch which i need to install for the hardware to  work properly?

Hi Kla,

Officially the earliest version compatible with Vista is LabVIEW 8.2.1 so it cannot be guaranteed that it will work although it seems that some people have been sucessful with version 7.

A list of software and driver compatibility can be found here and there is some further information at ni.com/vista.
