Is it new to LV2012 that Dynamic Events Terminals are shown by default?

Between writing the title of this question and drafting this body, I realized my "mistake" -- which is somewhere between a feature and a bug:

If you drop an Event Handler Structure from a palette invoked from blank diagram space, the structure is dropped with the Dynamic Events Terminal hidden.

--but--

If you drop an Event Handler Structure from a context palette by right-clicking on a User Event Ref or an Event Registration Refnum, the structure is dropped with this terminal shown!

To be more precise:  The Event Structure appears in the palettes twice.  The one in the Structures subpalette does not have the Dynamic Event terminal visible, the one in the Event subpalette (which you get by strategically right-clicking) does.
