Hi Baran,

There is no way to directly import any of the programing blocks from The MathWorks, Inc. Simulink® software into LabVIEW.

However if you wanted to use your own code that you programed using The MathWorks, Inc. Simulink® environment in LabVIEW, we do have the NI Simulation Interface Toolkit that is now part of the Model Interface Toolkit, which you can use.

Baran,

Yes, you can convert them. The Control Design and Simulation Module can convert .mdl files to LabVIEW VIs.

https://www.ni.com/docs/en-US/bundle/labview-control-design-and-simulation-module/page/lvsimconcepts...

Hope that helps.

Is "Control Design and Simulation Module" same as "Control and simulation" add-on which is in the NI Developer Suite (labview professional bundle)?

Also do I need to purchase Matlab Real-time workshop for that?

Thanks.

Hi Baran,

Yes, they are the same. No, you do not need Matlab Real-time to use the Simulation Model Converter.

Cheers,
