Is the Nexys2 board (with spartan 3e FPGA) compatible with the FPGA module

Hi Diego.

Did you finally was able to get your Nexys2 Board working with Labview ?

I'm about to buy and FPGA board and I still have the chance to choose between the Nexys2 ( 1200K option) and the Spartan 3E. I know they are based on a similar architecture so I also think it is possible maybe implementing some tricks manually.

The Spartan 3E starter kit has the best LabVIEW FPGA support (up to 2012 currently), with some effort other similar boards can be made to work but require a separate JTAG cable that is compatible with the Xilinx Platform USB II cable (at least as far as the drivers are concerned) and some work in the target's constraint file to change the pinout. Neither the cable nor the work on the target is required for the Spartan 3E or the NI Digital Electronic FPGA Board.
