As to being able to use your 8.5 version, I have multiple versions installed on my laptop at any given time, can use any of them. If you install newer versions after older ones installed there generally are few if any problems (although the newer version of MAX that may be installed may not play nice with older versions or hardware that an older program is working with), trying to install older versions after newer is a different matter.

Ravens - Thanks for the pwnage.  I'm all for latest-and-greatest so long as the latest-and-greatest is in fact the greatest! 😛
