LabVIEW 2017 susiindexer.exe triggered as malware

I was installing "LabVIEW 2017" 2 days ago in my company's laptop, halfway during installation, susiindexer.exe kept triggered and detected as malware. Is it a true valid malware or it's part of the installer package from NI?

tyk007.. Thanks for your reply. Yes i have googled the information in below link. Due to company policy issue, we are not allowed to install any unapproved software therefore I couldn't further validate the issue. I have just fully uninstalled the NI LabVIEW from my laptop and further await the tech team if I'm required to format my laptop due to this problem. Would like to know if anyone faces this problem and what else if being done to fix this.

It's safe and part of the Data Finder tool that NI installs with its development software. It's the process that scans your disk to see if it can find typical NI data files such as TDM(S) and present them to you in a convinient way.

I never used the Data Finder and in the beginning always went into the Installer setup to disable it as I do not see a real use case for my situation, but have been getting sloppy in the last few years about explicitly disabling software components that NI eagerly wants to put on my computers. But with regular installations of software that gets kind of tedious and so I more or less stopped doing that. The Data Finder may be useful for someone creating lots of data files but I'm mostly into programming the applications that might create the data files, not into creating data files myself.
