LabVIEW 8.0.1 won't print to HP 6980

I am running Vista 64-bit. The printer prints one blank page and loads a second page but does not print on it either. Printing to HTML works OK. This is a network printer, but I have also tried printing with it installed as a local USB printer. I have the latest printer drivers. This problem occurs whether I use print at completion , "File>Print window", etc.  Simply stated, I cannot print anything from LabVIEW regardless of whether I am in run mode, or edit mode. I also tried building the VI , but the .exe would not print. This printer works perfectly with all my other programs. I think I have tried the relevant suggestions in the knowledgebase. Any suggestions?

Hi rj289,

I was able to dig up a bug report (CAR #188673) relating to this issue, which is specific to HP printers and LabVIEW 32-bit running on 64-bit Vista.   There was a workaround in the bug report- to use the Print Repor.vi.

Are you able to print using the VI?
