I just created a VI that wrote a LVM file in 7.1, and I was able to successfully read the same LVM in LabVIEW 8.2. I was also able to run the "old" program in LabVIEW 8.2 and read from that file in LabVIEW 8.2. Which version of LabVIEW was used to create the "old VI" ? Are you using the same "Read from LabVIEW measurements file" that worked in the "old" version? I think you just need to double check your read from LVM file settings to make sure they match the specifications of the write to LVM.
