LabVIEW Problem

Hi,

I'm having this problem while trying to run my experiments. Can anyone help me out with its solutions?

Hi pranzal,

which hardware (DAQ device(s), computer) and software (LabVIEW, bitness, drivers, OS) do you use?

Mind to attach your VI and your MAX configuration?

And what are "the steps you performed that led to this error"?

Best regards,
GerdW

Hi GerdW,

My DAQ Device is NI SCXI-1000 (Chassis), NI SCXI-1300 (Terminal Block), NI SCXI-1349 (Cable Adapter), Computer is Dell (RAM:16.0 GB, 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor, Intel core i7, OS: Windows 10). My LabVIEW Software's version is LabVIEW-2017 (Version:17.0, 32-bit), NI MAX version 17.0

The steps:

1. Firstly, the following error was shown:

However, I tried solving for it using this link (https://knowledge.ni.com/KnowledgeArticleDetails?id=kA00Z000000P7a7SAC&l=en-US) and ensured that NI Configuration Manager and NI Device Loader were running. Then, I shut down my computer and restarted everything. A new error was shown:

When I clicked "Continue", it took me to another error:

That's the error that I posted. That's how this error came.

Thank you!

I have had similar issues which I never fully resolved.

For me resetting the MAX database as mentioned in the KB article would work for a while.

I suggest you contact NI support. That is my plan the next time I have access to my PXI with this issue but haven't had to opportunity to yet. What conversations I have had with NI support involved uninstalling and reinstalling all NI software.

If you do find a solution make sure to post it so others can benefit (Namely me 🙂 )

This is not a DAQ device, these are just a chassis and adapters!

There has to be a DAQ card in your computer…

Did you verify the correct behaviour of that DAQ card?

Did you check the connection of the DAQ card with your SCXI chassis?

Did you verify the correct MAX setup in the "Devices…" section?

Did you set the same device names and DAQmx tasks/channels as you used before you reset the MAX database?

Can you attach a screenshot of your MAX settings (with devices subtree expanded)?

Does your VI use DAQmx channels defined in MAX?

Does your VI use the DAQAssistent (when you should use plain DAQmx functions instead)?

Best regards,
GerdW
