When the terminal of a subVI is right clicked (i.e. to add a control or constant) with the auto-wiring tool, LabVIEW suddenly dissapears, crashing all the way back to the desktop with no warning, or error message. Tried solutions:
--Open sub in black VI: no change.
--Save subVI under new name: no change.
--Repair LabVIEW with original distribution software: no change.
--Uninstall and completely re-install LabVIEW: no change!
