LabVIEW does not find support for NI DAQmx.

Hello fellow programmers,

I'm an absolute beginner with LabVIEW and have the problem that although I installed the newest versions of NI-DAQmx (9.7.5) and LabVIEW (2013) I get the error message "LabVIEW does not find support for NI-DAQmx. Please reinstall".

I created a task in the NI-MAX. According to the tutorial now there should be an element in LabVIEW under "Measurement I/O", but it isn't. I transported the task via drag&drop into the block diagram, but when I want to turn it into code, I get the above mentioned message.

Operating System: Windows XP SP3

Any suggestions?

Did you install the drivers before or after LabVIEW.  You should install them after LabVIEW.  If you got it reversed, just do another install of the drivers.  All that will be added is the LabVIEW support, so it will be a quick install.

thank you for your reply. Well, I installed the latest version of NI DAQmx (9.8) and this time I also installed packages for older frameworks etc. and now it works.
