Labvie Plots wrong way round

I have an 8 channel board connected via sine generator so connections made through BNC connector , so V1-V8 are channels and Plot 0-Plot 7 are the plots for the channels mentioned respectfully.

V1,V2,V7,V8 are all correct giving plots for Plot 0,1,6,7 . thats fine. However V3-V6 are the problems.

so V6 should be Plot 5, V5--->Plot 4, V4---->Plot 3, & V3---->Plot 2

instead i am getting :

V6=Plot 5

V5=Plot 2

V4=Plot 5

V3=Plot 4

Any idea where to start here?

Thanks

PS. the picture (excise poor colour for graph) is when the connection is made to V3 so so should be Plot 2 to see it, instead it is Plot 4 I have to click.

V4=Plot 5

Could you diagnose why a car is not running from looking at the color of the car?

apologies, but was thinking this may have been a common problem.

Hi dhanna,

the "common problem" here are people asking questions and only providing a picture of the front panel.

No block diagram picture/snippet, no VI - but expecting solutions for their problems…

Let me rephrase what the others are saying.

If you post your VI, we can help you find your problem.  It is likely a stupid wiring mistake, but we can't tell you that until you give us something to look at that will enable us to figure out what your problem is.

Also the common problem here is that there are many things that could be going wrong. But there ends the common cause of such an error.

You don't mention the actual hardware you are using nor the possible accessory hardwares that you may be using to convert your DAQ hardware outputs to BNC connectors. And as Gerd said, you show a front panel only without providing the diagram at all, or much better even the actual VI you wrote.

Possible reasons include errors in your wiring from the hardware to the BNC connectors, mislabeled BNC connectors, your cabling to the BNC, wrong setup of the configuration for the 8 channels and probably a few dozen other things. Assuming that the problem lies in LabVIEW is in 99% of the cases simply ignorance of the possibility to make errors yourself.

Zip files with the actual VIs would be best.
