Labview 7.1 crashes on Ubuntu 7.04! Help!

Hi! I want to install Labview 7.1 in Ubuntu 7.04. My procedure is the following:

1) Log in terminal as root
2) Convert rpm to deb with "alien -d -c"
3) install deb packages either with "dpkg -i" in terminal or with "GDebi Package installer"

The problem is that when I try to run the application (installed in /usr/local/lv71), Labview seems to open (actually, a window appear exaclty as it used to happen in Windows environment), but after 1 minute or so, it just closes. Am I doing anything wrong? What is happening here?

Thank you very much for your help!

Cheers,

Hello,

I'm sorry, but you must know that LabVIEW is not supported on this distribution; It may work, but we can't affirm it will ...

Here is a link to the linux supported distributions.
