Labview 7 Express Student Edition NI Example Finder

While trying to follow LabVIEW 7 Express Student Edition book, the NI Example Finder reports error message: NI Service Locator is not running. I have tried turning off the virus scanner, turning off firewall, re-installing, and uninstalling. Problem still exist.

Thanks for the information. There was a hidden ni executable that needed to be unblocked within the firewall.
