Labview 8 Student Edition?

In an Academic Update email from NI today, it mentioned Labview 8 Student Edition. Is this available now?

I heard something like that just yesterday at a local NI activity. You may need to contact NI directly and/or keep an eye on this page.

Actually Amazon.com mentions June 1, 2006, so I guess it might be awhile.
