Hi

I browsed the Ftp site and found a 1.4 gb .zip, in evaluation folder, i suppose this is LabVIEW..
but it says embedded, is this the same PC labview? or some thing diffrent.

Thanks

No, that's different and not what you want.

If you follow my link and use internet explorer to download the 8.5 evaluation, it will work. (The file is password protected, so typing the plain ftp link manually will not work because the credentials do not match).

What browser do you use?

Hi Altenbach

Am using IE 7.0 as browser, am unable to downlaod the file using the ftp link, so as per the trouble shooting I tried using http insted of ftp,

but i get an error saying this page might have been moved.

This will not work unless you also provide credentials. IE7 is a bit better at hiding username and password, so what you see in the status bar when hovering over the link is only part of the story and will not work as typed (ftp, http, ot otherwise).

I have absolutely no problem downloading using the link shown in the picture (you get there after following my link above).

Are you behind a corporate firewall? Some block downloading of executables. In the unlikely case that you are behind a NAT router with incomplete ftp ALG, verify that your advanced IE setting has passive ftp mode enabled? If it is enabled, also try with "passive" disabled.

What are your browser security settings? Are you running a personal firewall or other security software? What is your antivirus?
