Labview License

1. Labview license is required for running the labview application files which is already created by someone else?
2. If I develop a Labview application and then distribute it to certain customers to use, do they have to buy any Labview license?
3. Also please share the cost for buying the labview software for application development once the trial period is over.

Hi Allwyn@123,

1. For LabVIEW VIs - Yes, for LabVIEW executables - No.

2. No, but you have to build it as .exe. (.exe builder is part of LabVIEW Professional, otherwise needs to be purchased separately)

3. Select Your LabVIEW Edition

Important is, that NI changed the policy, and now is selling only subscription licenses. This means you pay for a year, and if you don't renew the license next year, you will not be able anymore to develop/change the code created in LabVIEW.
