Labview USB-1616FS interface

Hello,

I am trying to use a MCC USB-1616FS device with LabVIEW to run data acquisition, but when I open LabVIEW, my device doesn't show up. The device shows up in InstaCal, and it is already calibrated. I am not sure whether I need to use NI Max or not as there is no section for USB interfaces in the Devices and Interfaces section. Any help would be appreciated.

For reference, my InstaCal version is 6.72, and my LabVIEW version is 20.0.1 (64-bit). I am running on Windows 10 Pro.

FYI - you're expecting an MCC made hardware to work with DAQmx (NI made for NI's DAQmx hardware).

Not to sound rude, do you expect Apple software to work with Android phones too?

You're misunderstanding the term MCC has support for LabVIEW, you need to read their documentation on what drivers to install and how to use those drivers in LabVIEW.

Clarification:

I am not using the NI DAQmx library in LabVIEW. I am using the ULx for NI LabVIEW library.

I can see where my question might be confusing, but I am using the library that Measurement Computing provided. I am not expecting Measurement Computing to interface this the DAQmx. From my understanding, the ULx library should have a plug 'n' play interface with the USB-1616FS; however, when I try to use the ULx library in LabVIEW, my device does not show up. The device is connected to my computer and is working because I can read data from MCC's DAQami application.
