Hi,
I got a bad surprise today: I cannot build applications with my Labview 2011 32 bits.
I get the following error even with the simpliest projects :
Error 1 occurred at UpdateVersionResource.vi -> AB_EXE.lvclass:Build.vi -> AB_Engine_Build.vi -> AB_Build_Invoke.vi -> AB_Build_Invoke.vi.ProxyCaller
Possible reason(s):
LabVIEW: An input parameter is invalid. For example if the input is a path, the path might contain a character not allowed by the OS such as ? or @.
Up to yesturday everything worked like a charm. A 64 bits version of Labview is still working but I need to build 32 bits applications.
Can my 32 bit Labview installation be corrupted ?

Repairing the LV installation solved the problem.

I have the same issue, it started after I (1) built an installer for my executable (2) ran the installer on my own computer and then (3) uninstalled the program. I wonder if the "uninstall" somehow affected LabVIEW itself.

I know that topic is old, but in case someone else like me comes across this topic:
I found that link (below) that suggests admin access and disabling the antivirus.
Talking with IT, they've created an exception on our firewall for all NI software related and the error magically disappeared. No Admin access required (which would be a pain in my situation)
--> Much less time consumed than a repair of the install.
Hope that helps.
