How did you install DAQmx on the other system and which installer did you use?
In the LabVIEW Build Specifications for Installers for example you can choose to include "NI-DAQmx Runtime", but there is a "NI-DAQmx Runtime with Configuration Support" too. I think you just installed Runtime, but without Configuration Support.
