Has anyone been able to get Labview installed on the public beta of Windows 7? I'm getting an SDK error when running the installer, even with compatibility modes on.

Hello guys,
Because this is a Beta OS this is not supported. Our R&D department has not tested this. We were curious in the Applications Engineering department so we have tried it. We have successfully installed a beta version of LabVIEW on a freshly formated Windows 7 machine and it seems to work. What versions have you tried installing on your machines. Also please include a screenshot of this error.

This is the error I got. I'm using the Labview 8.6 dvd downloaded from ni.com/src.

I totally understand that. I never said I'd use it for competition! =]
I just wanted to try out to see if it was possible. I do have another machine for the actual development.

Jon S.,
Thank you for letting us know that Labview 8.6.1 does exist and and it does run on Windows 7. Now, where we can get this 8.6.1 version of Labview?

Hey all,
We were testing with an unreleased version of LabVIEW that is not available. I’m sorry if I got your hopes up. I do not know if or when it will be released. Because this is a beta OS it will not be supported and we won’t be of much help if it doesn’t work on your system.
