I have written several Posts on this Forum discussing how to "Uninstall LabVIEW safely".  I, too, use Control Panel to do the steps.  I go through the usual two steps --

1. Run Control Panel, select NI Software (you must have Admin privileges) which starts NIPM, turn off Products Only, select "All", click "Remove", wait, and when done, Reboot.
2. Run Control Panel, select NI Package Manager (Admin privileges), and remove NIPM.  Reboot.

and then I mention the third step:

     3. Do Step 1 again.  This cleans up the "extra" things @Mads mentioned.

NI System Configuration 2025 Q2 has been released.  It contains Microsoft LSA-signed 32-bit and 64-bit nimdNSP.dll and nimdnsResponder.dll.  In my testing, this was sufficient to remove the warnings.

For completeness, the link in Gabe's reply will take you to the System Configuration download page on ni.com. If you want to install the update from NIPM instead, first search for "system configuration" on the Browse Products page:

When you click the first result, make sure you select "2025 Q2" on the resulting page before you click the Install button:

Just to be clear:

I assume this (the System Configuration 2025 Q2 update) will fix the mDNS issue regardless of whether the installers you make afterwards actually include the System Configuration component...correct?

I haven't installed this, so I don't know, but I would strongly suspect it does not include it.

Currently update in NI Package Manager does not update System Configuration to version  2025 Q2. It remains System Configuration 2025 Q1 and must be updated "manualy", as explained by Darren. Check the version in MAX.

Correct. To access the fix you must install Sys Config 2025 Q2 via the ni.com download or NIPM as described upthread.

Since the Sys Config 2025 Q2 is the fix, is it ok to install with LabVIEW 2023Q3?

Thanks, but one more question.  Since I will be doing this on my main development computer, once I update any executable programs for use on  other computers I will have to update those computers with the Sys Config 2025 Q2.  Then install the new executable files I created on my development machine.

Sorry, but I always get a little funny when updating to different versions and keeping compatibility between everything that has been deployed.  Any best practice documentation on this?
