Lost Highlight Execution button and more from tool bar

So this is probably a dumb...but I've somehow "lost" the highlight execution, pause, probe and stepping buttons from my block diagram window toolbar.  I'm Struggling a little bit trying to figure out how to bring them back, probably something dumb but not knowing where to look I need help.  The "View Toolbars" option under the View menu is disabled, if that means anything.

Thanks.

In the VI properties (ctrl-i) go to execution>> Allow debuging.  Turn it back on and you should be set.

Hello:

That happened because somehow you deselected the "Allow debugging" option of the VI. To check it again go to the VI Properties Window (menu File->VI Properties) and the select the Execution category and check the Allow debugging option. This will bring the buttons back.

My case seems to be worse than him.

The buttons have greyed out and I can't even tick/untick the "Allow Debugging" option.

Please can someone advice how to resolve this? Thanks heaps!

I believe it is because you have it set to reentrant.  Unclick reentrant and you should be able to debug it.

Also check to see if the execution settings are set to something like "subroutine" priority.

EDIT:  I just saw you had a screenshot that showed your execution settings.  So my tip won't apply in your case, but could for someone else who comes across this thread.

What version of LabVIEW are you using?  The dialog box looks different than mine, and it looks like a much older LabVIEW icon.
