I'm using LabVIEW 7.1 to control a THORLABS BSC103 motorcontroller, which has three channels, which are all needed in the work I'm doing. I'm using three MG17motor activeX controls to control a positioner attached to each channel. Unfortunately the channel enumeration associated with the methods only has three values
0 - channel 1
1 - channel 2
10 - both channels
There isn't an option to use a third channel, I've tried entering 2, which doesn't seem to work.....Does anyone know of a way to either make it 'see' the third channel or add a third channel?
Also I've had problems with LabVIEW remembering settings I've changed (that usually don't work helpfully) even when I've changed them back....for example one of my positioners is homing fowards and doesn't stop at the limit switch despite the fact that its set to home backwards. I've even tried using the SetHWLimSwitches method and still no joy. Is there a way to clear LabVIEW's temporary files? Also I keep on using the software that came with the controller (although not at the same time as LabVIEW as they don't work together) to make sure I haven't broken anything, could there be some sort of conflict between the two programs?
Thanks
Jen
