Mass Spec Vi?

We recently obtained an old Questor (1985) mass spec process analyzer from
another lab. Are there any Alliance members or other researchers out
there who have experience with LabView and mass specs?

The system is based on a PC controlling the system via serial. Any ideas
from those with experience in this area would be very helpful as I may design
the VI's myself. The system was made by Extrel (since acquired by ABB).

My sense is that you won't find drivers already written--though it is certainly possible. Do you have manuals for the device that describe the serial interface? If so, writting a set of drivers is very do-able and I would be willing to help. Mike...
