Migrating from Labview 5.0.1 up to the oldest currently supported model

Can someone offer me guidance on the best way i can go about doing this.

I have tried going up the steps, but i cant find the downloads for the older versions of LabView, oldest one i could find after 5.0.1 is 8.2.1 but apparently that is too high of a jump.

What is your definition of "oldest currently supported model"? (supported by NI? Supported by a modern OS? supported by your measurement hardware?)

LabVIEW 8.2 can open 5.0 (or even 4.0!) Vis.
