Missing tools pallette

Hi- 

I'm new to labview, and I'm following a tutorial based on the temperature system demo.vi

My problem is that when I click on Windows>>Show tools pallette  Nothing happens; no pallette appears. 

What do I have to do to get to the tools pallette?

Maybe it is located offscreen for some reason (e.g. if you used it with a much higher screen resolution).

Try the following:

1. Exit LabVIEW
2. Go to your LabVIEW folder (typically C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 7.1 or similar)
3. Open LabVIEW.ini using notepad.
4. Delete the entire line containing toolPaletteLoc=.... (e.g. toolPaletteLoc=357,335,516,413 or whatever the numbers are)
5. save the modified LabVIEW.ini under the same name.
6. Now restart LabVIEW.

Hi Veneman,

You can also try using the shortcut (shift-right-click) to open the Tools Palette at the location of your mouse.
