I happened with LabVIEW 2009.  If you upconvert some VIs from 8.6, you will see the deprecated VIs with their icons that show "8.6".

Yeah, it's been around as long as i can remember, who started with LV professionally with 8.2. (i'm pretty sure it's present there)
