NI-RIO 3.4.0 with NI Scan Engine support problem

I am attempting to install the NI-RIO 3.4.0 with NI Scan Engine support on a cRIO-9024 and get a message on the install page that reads as follows.  This recommended software set cannot be installed because the following components are missing on your local system:

Network Variable Engine 1.6.1 (older version available onhost)

NI Scan Engine 1.1.1 (older version available on host)

Modbus I/O Server 1.6.1 (older version available on host)

Run-Time Engine for Web Services 2.0.1 (older versionavailable on host)

NVE Core 1.6.1 (older version available on host)

LogosXT 5.1.1 (older version available on host)

EPICS Server I/O Server 1.6.1 (older version available onhost)

LogosXT Platform Specific INI Settings 5.1.1 (older versionavailable on host)

Variable Client Support for LabVIEW RT 1.6.1 (older versionavailable on host)

NVE Serial Subsystem 1.6.1 (older version available on host)

Logos 5.1.1 (older version available on host)

SSL Support for LabVIEW RT 2.0.1 (older version available onhost) 

I would have thought these came as part of the NI-RIO 3.4.0 download.  If that is true I am wondering what it is that I am doing wrong?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Nate,

what version of Labview are you using on your system?  NI-RIO was released specifically for Labview 2009 SP1 and does not officially support any versions of Labview below SP1 (even Labview 2009). You can download previous versions of NI-RIO here. I recommend getting version 3.3.1 since it supports Labview 2009 and below. Many of the components you mentioned will be installed with Labview and the Real-time module (given that they're the newest versions).

I am running 2009 SP1.  I had an issue earlier with the scan engine from version 3.2 and one of your Applications Engineers helped me determine which version I needed.  This is why I am having so much trouble.  I am having another strange problem with the real time and FPGA modules.  They will not correctly activate using the codes that NI sent to me in an email.  I wonder if this has anything to do with it?  Thank you for your response and maybe we can come up with a solution.

Are you using LabVIEW RT SP1 as well?

Also you  may check your PC to see if you have these RT components installed on your PC.  You can see these in the RT images directory under C:\Program Files\National Instruments\RT Images (or different depending on your installation).  If the versions it's looking for are not there, try reinstalling LVRT and RIO.  

If needed you can try doing a custom install and install whichever versions that already exist on the system.

Finally, you may actually have to activate LVRT for the install to work.  If you're having trouble activating, try calling Technical Support and creating a service request under the Real-Time product type.  You can do this from http://www.ni.com/support/.

I am attempting to install NI RIO 3.4.0 with Scan Engine support on a cRIO 9022. This is grayed out on the selection list. When I select it I get the following list informing me that components are missing. I am running Labview  2009 (SP1), with the RT module installed.

I have installed NI-RIO 3.4.0, but all to no avail. This follows a similar message posted on April 15th. Did you get your problem resolved?
