Re : No image with a compiled VI on target machine (LV8.2.1 and NI Vision 8.2)

I developped a vi with LabVIEW 8.2.1 and NI Vision 8.2 and I created an installer for this VI. This VI is used to acquire images from an IEEE1394 camera.
I installed it on a first target machine with no problem, it runs perfectly.
After that I tried to install it on a second target machine. The installation ran correctly and the camera was correctly initialized. But then each time I try to acquire an image from the camera that does not work. The image remains empty. But I do not get any error message.
I tried to acquire images on this target machine with Measurement and Automation Explorer and it worked.
I also installed the program on 2 other computers without any problem.
What could be the problem with the installation on this computer ?

P.S : The vi was developped under Windows XP which is also the OS on the target machines.

Hello,
Did you tried in debug mode?
Are you the administrator of the second computer?
Do you use absolute name relative to your camera name?

First, thank you for your answer.
In fact I had an older verison of the vi (developped with LV7.1). I tried to compile this one (still with LV7.1) and to install it on the second computer (I am the administrator of this machine) after unistalling the version that did not work. This older version worked perfectly.
Then I tried to install again the new vesion (installer compiled with LV8.2.1 and its app builder and with Vision LV8.2). Again this version does not work on the second computer (no image). And the older version does not work anymore (no image).
Then I developped a little vi with LV8.2.1 (this vi only acquire images and displays them), then I compiled it into an executable and I tried it on the computer. This one works perfectly, the iages from the camera are correctly displayed.

I think there is something wrong with the installer but I can't figure out what could cause such a problem.

How can I try in debug mode with a compiled version ?

Hello,

I tried to develop another little program with image manipulation and finally I found what the problem is on the computer. I get the "unlicensed copy of NI Vision" error.
What is strange is that the NI License Manager tells that NI Vision Runtime is licensed and correctly activated.
I also have Vision Acquisition Software (with IEEE1394 drivers) correctl installed and activated on this computer according to NI License Manager.
NI License Manager does not mention any other NI programs (as expected).

I should precise that the computer is a customer's computer and I know he had some trouble with the program installation but I do not know exactly what he did before I got the computer.
I tried to completely uninstall and reinstall and I unactivated and then reactivated every NI products ( NI Vision Runtime and NI Vision Acquisition Software).

What could be the problem ? Could a wrong serial number be in memory or something like that ?
