Package DAQMx drivers with my Labview application Installer build?

Solved!
Go to solution
I am running Labview 7.1.1. How do I package DAQMx drivers within an Installer and subsequant .BLD file? I have VI application which uses the DAQMx drivers and I want to be able to create an executable and installer that will install the DAQMx drivers when I have a user install the application on their machine. I have already built the executable but cannot figure out how to include the driver install within the application installation.

Good Afternoon aaronb,

Have you seen the section titled, "LabVIEW 7.1 and earlier" in the following KnowledgeBase article.

How Can I Include Additional Installers with My LabVIEW Applications' Installer?

As a note, creating and distributing applications became significantly easier in later versions of LabVIEW.  Have you considered upgrading?   LabVIEW 2009 just came out in August 2009.
