Photron SA3 Camera Labview Control

I’ writing a program to control a SA3 Photron Camera (attached). I would like to arm acquisition by an external trigger (test event), wait for acquisition to finish, write images to file on the PC.  

The problem I’m facing is that out of the “PDC_Get live Image Data.VI” I only have zeros values (Black Image). If you are familiar with Photron Camera Control please check if I correctly initiated the Camera.

Are there any existing programs for the purpose I described above?

Hi Marco,

I am not familiar with Photron cameras, but searched our databases for links on the subject. Unfortunately I haven't found anything there.

Since it seems the VIs are not from NI, it is probably an issue which Photron could better answer, they having written the driver VIs. I would suggest asking them how to initialize the camera since this board is for general LabVIEW questions and it is not directly a LabVIEW question.

Of course you may be lucky and someone on these boards knows the answer 🙂
