Plotting a second data into a chart

I am sending setpoints to an autoclaf. The setpoints are ploted in a xy-chart. I want to plot the measured data in the same chart. If this is possible i can see how the measured data follows the plotted setpoints in the same chart.

Hi,

I've made a little modification of your VI to show you how to make a multi plot graph using an XY Graph.

I recommend you have a look at "XY Graph.vi" in Lv examples. That will probably explain you a little bit how to do things with graphs.

Hope this helps !

I have tested your modifications but i dont see the registered data of the analog input channel in the graph. The analog input channel is supposed to be registered continuously, but i dont see this data plotted in the graph. I think it measures a single point, but i dont see a dot in the graph. i dont know why it doesn't work. Did you tested with real data, i checked the connectionts and the channel it works.

I looked to the xy graph.vi and see the posibilities, it all simple done there are no real world problems. It helps but when you want to combine the possiblities, it doesn't work.

Thank you very much,

Ibrahim

Hi,
did you try the vi with a non-empty control "Array" ?

Here's a modification of your vi where "Array" is not empty. The vi can't draw anything if this "Array" is empty.

Hope this helps ! Hope you've got at least LV61 !

thank you very much for your effort

It plots the data of the array, that is not a problem, but i don't see the data of the analog input. Both the data works sepearatly, you can test this simply by using two charts, but i want both data in one chart. And thus in this case it only shows the data of the array and not the data of the analog input.

i have LV6.0

This is probably because you're only making a single scan. Try with this modified version of the vi and see if you've got 2 plots. What I do is acquire as many points as there are rows in the "Array".

Hope this helps !
