Another one of those tick, tick, tick, snap moments. Resizing the Polymorphic VI window is an interesting GUI experience. I am often compulsive about resizing so multicolumn listboxes are just the right size, this window drives me nuts.
File -> New ... -> Polymorphic VI (or open your favorite)
Grab the corner and drag around a bit. Be sure to stop and restart to see the result after things snap into place.
Also be sure to grab, drag, return to the starting position and then drop. Hysteresis.
Stretch the Menu Name Column then make the window 1 pixel wider or narrower
It has been like this forever, finally pushed me over the figurative edge. Fixed-sized windows are bad, this might bother me even more....

I also noticed this behavior, it's annoying ...it's a small bug

It's a small bug until you start using polymorphic VIs a lot.

(To tell the truth the whole dialog strikes me as a summer interm project)

I talked to someone at NI about this during NI Week. Their opinion was yeah it sucks using the polymorphic editor, but you only have to do it once in a while so it doesn't get a whole lot of attention. While complaining about the editor I fine the window resize less annoying then the clumsy way VIs are added one at a time, then edited one at a time by having to open a new window for adding text.
