Problem with interfacing ismatec peristaltic pump with PC

Hi,

I am trying to program Ismatec Reglo Digital pumps to control it through my pc. I downloaded the LABVIEW driver from Ismatec website

but when i open the any VI file and run it, it gives me error out 7001.

I do not know exactly what is the reason behind this error because i tried to change the cable but i get the same problem. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

With new equipment I usually try using the manufacturer software first to make sure everything is working properly.  Then try using the LabVIEW drivers with the settings that worked.

I have never used one of those pumps, so I have no idea how well their drivers are written.  But some drivers are written better then others.

If it does not work with the supplied software it will not magically work with LabVIEW.  Make sure the communication settings are the same on the unit and in the software and then double check the wiring.  You could also contact the pumps support department to get it working with their software first.
