Hi,

does this occur on the same computer you develop the application on or on a different one where you deploy your vision application?

If the latter is the case, make sure you build an installer that includes the Vision Acquisition software, as is explained here: Which Runtimes Do I Need to Deploy My Vision 2009 Application?

Which version of LabVIEW Vision are you using?

Regards

Peter

hi,

first of all, thanks for answering. This occur on the a different computer where i deploy my vision application. Im using Labview 2010 and hope to run .exe in another computer which have already install the Run-Time engine 2010. Must i build a installer rather than a simple .exe?

Hi, Please ensure that you have required drivers installed on the new machine where you want to run the exe.

Creating an installer would be good idea.

"Required Drivers" to run the hardware. Your run-time engine is required to run the software. I'm sure you must have installed MAX with imaq drivers with it. Pl ensure that you are able to run the hardware using MAX.

Hey,

yes, in order to use the driver on the target computer, you need to either

- build an installer including the Vision Acquisition software OR

- install the vision acquisition software on the target computer first

Please note that for every computer that you want to use Vision hardware on, you will need a run-time license.

Let me know if you have further questions.

hello, is that mean i have to install the NI Vision Run-Time Engine and get a license for that? I found the Vision Run-Time Engine at <Vision>\Run-Time Engine\vision2010rte.exe

But the NI Vision Run Time License is really expensiveSmiley Indifferent
