Problems with servers and shared variables in LabVIEWs Distributed Systems Manager

Hi experts

The LabVIEW I/O servers (Modbus master/slave) has been fantastic. However, suddenly when I opened the Distributed Systems Manager (DSM), then no servers were found. Previously, both active and disabled servers were visible. I tried made a new project/library/IO-server, and deployed it without errors. After re-opening the DSM, now I can see the server but the attached shared variables are nowhere to be found. Also, the state of the server is "Not stoppable"....

Hi,

Did your Windows update by any chance? This seems to have happened to other users as well, please see below for solution:

Kind regards,

Kelly

Hi Kelly_Chan.

Thanks, it's likely that you're correct. I see now that Windows updated with update kb4471324 the 12'th of desember. Unfortunately I have started to uninstall for a complete re-install (used the occation to install the 2018 version).

Anyway, thank you for responding 🙂
