Problems with the diff mode on my PC-6036E A/D-Card

For the testing of my analog input I connected my hardware with the testing signal in DIFF mode to AICH0 (+) and AiCH(8) (-) . But instead of getting a correct reading I just receive a signal pending between the min and max voltage value of my channel and it makes no difference if my hardware is empowered or not. What did i made wrong? I can't use the online configuration tool altough my card is of the e-series

Greetings,

Have you tried reading a known voltage, such as a battery, with differential channel zero? Do you see the same floating signal? Do all of your channels exhibit this behavior?

I have included the links to two web pages that may help you troubleshoot:

Good luck with your application.

Thanks for answering. I passed the test described in the first link and the test was passed. Then I tried the ESeries Control VI and it also worked correct. But my problem doesn't change. When i take a battery, the same floating effect is the result on the (+) Channel
and when I then connect also the - Pole of the battery I receive a zero line. So I'm at the end of my wisdom and I don't now how to get it work correctly. Maybe you have an other idea (maybe its all because I'm not very familiar with these kinds of meassurement). I'm a student in Medical Informatics and I have to create an App for analysing soundsignals
Another question is how I get an App compiled. The programm always tolds me of SubVis in memory that should be closed, but I haven't opened
any of them (just use them in my App). Questions over questions and hopefully some answers that push me further
Thx
Chris M.
