Program Errors?

When I run a test I get these two program errors.
Labview.exe and lkopcsrv.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows.
You will need to restart the program. An error log is being created.

I am running LabView 6.0 on Windows 2000.

Drejret-

Perhaps you can give us soem more to go on. Is it possible to post your code? DO you see anything in event viewer? does it happen all the time or just sometimes?

Hi Drejret!

This is most likely an installation issue of some kind and windows is uncapable of loading labview.exe correctly. If you have access to another computer i would recommend installing your copy of labview there and seeing if you still get the same problem. Other option would be to uinstall your copy of labview in the current PC and try to install it again (delete the folder in program files to be sure).

I have seen this issue most of the times in windows 2000.

Hope this works, best regards!

Deleting the old Labview out of the registry and reinstalling from scratch seemed
to fix the problem.
Thanks for the help

After reinstalling Labview, I ran the test that gave me the errors.  First time through, ran fine.  Second time I tried to run the test, I got the same errors.

In event viewer the description tells me: A driver packed received from the I/O subsystem was invalid.  The data is the packet.

I updated from 6.0 to 6.0.2, installed the patches online also.  Running Windows 2000.

Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks
