PropPage_FPB.VI loading takes a long time

Every time I access a property such as Format&Precision, PropPage_FPB.VI loads and then loads close to 100 other files. This happens every time! Is there some setup problem I can fix?

I am really sorry you are experiencing such a problem. In order to assit you better, I will need some more information such as your LabVIEW version and the exact steps to reproduce your problem. I placed a Format and Precision Property Node of a numeric control on the block diagram of several different versions of LabVIEW and I was not able to observe the behavior you described.

Could you please include detailed steps on how to recreate the problem?

Running LV 8.2. I have a numeric indicator on the front panel of the VI. I right click on it and select Fomat&Precision. A message box appears "Loading PropPage_FPB.VI" and then searching for and loading close to 100 other objects. This takes a long time and it happens every time I try to set the Format&Precision for a numeric display. The same thing happens if I right click and select Properties at the very bottom.

I would recommend completely uninstalling LabVIEW, restarting your PC, and reinstalling LabVIEW. This is certainly unexpected behavior. I am not sure what is causing it. A reinstall should fix it.
