RS485 support in NXG 2.0 or NXG 2.1 (beta)?

Supports NXG 2.0 or the 2.1 beta communication over rs485?

Or is it not supported, because modbus isn't implemented yet?

RS485 is some "hardware", while Modbus is a communication protocol used with several types of hardware…

Does NXG support VISA? If so you can use RS485 like any other serial port!

Indeed NXG supports VISA. In this comparison is no information about VISA. This is why I asked..

ModBUS-RTU is just a (well-defined) protocol.

You can surely implement this protocol using string or numeric functions…

You can find two Modbus Toolkits in the NI paket manager: (LabVIEW NXG 2.0 required)

--> SAPHIR GModBus Over Serial Line Toolkit

--> SAPHIR GModBus Over TCP Toolkit

Maybe this is what your are searching for.
