Hi Andrew,
That only works if the CD is made bootable to boot the RT OS, and for that I need some install program. Or perhaps some image that I can burn on a CD.
I tried to make an image of the USB stick created with the RT Disk utility "Create Desktop utility USB drive" and burned it to an bootable CD, but it didn't work.
It came with the message: Cannot load DOS.

Hi Frans,
Using a 3.5" to 2.5" converter you could insert the laptop hard drive to a PC with a floppy drive (if you have one somewhere, as you have noticed USB floppy drives don't work) and format it there. Then put it back to the laptop and it should run just fine.
It's not so convenient, but it should work.
