Registry error 600

i need to read a key in registry, but LV returns a msgbox with this message "unidentified error due to Windows registry" ("Erreur indéterminée au niveau du registre Windows", in french).
What is the cause of this error ans how can i do to avoid it ?

Are you logged in as administrator? If not try your program in super user mode see if you still have a problem also post the code. People will then be able to help you.
