Replace Keithley 236 Tool by Keithley 228 in Labview version 5.1

Hello,

I have a problem connecting my Keithley 228 with Labview. I already have program connecting labview 5.1 with Keithley 236. How can I replace the 236 tool for the 228. There is no Driver for the 228 Tool for LV 5.1.

If someone is able to help me with this problem that would be nice.

Well, there is chance that someone with a lot of previous versions can convert the 7.0 or 8.0 driver for you. Someone would need to have every version between 5.1 and at least 7.0. I do not have these versions anymore so I cannot help.

If you get no response, then you will probably need to write the driver yourself. It might be worthwhile using the 236 driver as a starting point and modifying it per the manual.

Dear Bram,

I managed to save the download back to Labvie 5, I'm not sure if it works (there is a lot of difference between the original version and 5), but it is worth while trying. It was a library with only one VI, you can find the zip file attached to this post.

If this doesn't work modifying the old other API would be the best solution.
