I think you are looking for Data Queue PtByPt.vi
That one will certainly do the job, but it wasn't the one I was thinking of.
Let me attach an image of it.
This is one I'm using to store arrays of XY points for a chart like XY graph. I don't remember where I found it. It might have been buffering another datatype and I modified it to do this.
I think I found it in a LabVIEW example, but cannot find it now.
I'm hoping someone recognizes the icon and can tell me where I originally found it. The icon for this subVI is in the upper right corner of the image.
