Scilab Gateway: Does the target computer need Scilab installed?

Hello,

Maybe a dumb question, but if I use Scilab Script nodes in my application, will the target need to have Scilab installed as well after deployment?

Because after this article, I thought all I would need would be to copy ScriptScilab.dll in Runtime folder.

Did I misunderstand?

Is it the same for MATLAB?

Yes, you will need to have Scilab installed according to the instructions in the last section here:

This is the same requirement for the MATLAB® script node.
