Serial data

irrespective of the com port we select it shows the error so could u guide us in the driver that is required... i have posted the screenshot of the error that pops up when we run it...

If you would start tool I suggested, you would see the message on start:

"It seems VISA is not installed" 😄

 

So, install VISA driver.

we thanku for suggesting the drivers.. at present it is running without error.. bt after sending the data through the software RS232 analyzer it is not being displayed in the output.

wat should we do?

we where just chekin by transmitting ASCII values through RS232.. but it was not displaying the same.................

Make sure you can loop data when using the "Basic Serial Write and Read" Example. Short pin 2 and 3 on your serial port, and run the example with "None" selected as flow control. 

 

If that example is not working I would recheck drivers and connections.
