Or put it in the directory of the project. Just select it when the vi is searching for the subvi.

THIS WORKED
SOLUTION
C:\Programs Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 6.1\vi.lib\Utility\file.llb did not exist. I used the file ErnieH posted earlier in the forum (file.llb) and place it in the C:\Programs Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 6.1\vi.lib\Utility directory. After doing this, I restarted my LabVIEW program and did not get the error "SubVI is missing ......"
Thank you again for all your help ErnieH!

At some point, you may want to investigate how that LLB came to be missing...it is a core file that is installed with LabVIEW. If that one is missing, then other core parts of LabVIEW may be missing too. I recommend repairing your LabVIEW installation when you get a chance.

Glad I could help. You can run into a lot of strange things on old programs.
