TS Sequence Context and Invoke Node problems

I have a Vi that was developed in 7.1 and TS 3.1.  I inherited this design from a past developer.  The Invoke node works fine when loaded with LV 7.1 but not when I load the Vi with LV 8.2.1.  I have gone through everything I can think of to correct the problem.  Help would be appreciated. philip_b@tx.rr.com  (contact address to let me know you posted or you can do it directly.  Thanks in advance.

I just loaded this vi in 7.1, 8.2 and 8.5 and it works just fine for me. Although my TS version is 4.0. Can you expalin what you mean by it doe not work in 8.2. Does it load correctly? Have you reinstalled teststand into LV 8.2 so that you can open the TS pallette in LV 8.2? Are you running this inside of a sequence and passing the sequence context to it. It will not run correctly if a sequnce context is not passed to it from TS.

Also you should post this in the teststand forum and not the LV forum

The Get Property Value (Number).Vi has a broken run arrow and is stating the invoke nodes within the diagram are incorrect.  I suspect this is a TS 3.1 problem and using 8.2.1 or I need a support file that I don't know about. This Vi should load in 8.2.1 without a full blown TS install so long as I have the .ctl and .vi files and the addons from TS. Could you save them off using LV 8.2.1 / TS 4.0 and send them to me or repost them.

Yes you will need to add support for TS in LV 8.2 You must be able to have LV 8.2 load in TS as an adapter to run them. All you have to do is re-run the TS installer and add the support for LV 8.2 (if 8.2 is supported in TS 3.1)

The vi is a polymorphic vi and they are kind of hard to save all of them which specific input do you need.

I downloaded the TS 4.0.1 evaluation and installed it.  This fixed my problem.

I kind of figured it was a compatibilty issue between TS and LV.

Glad you could get it fixed.
